Roleplay Rules

Write in the third person and in the past tense. Having a set system for everyone to write in helps with coherence.
Try to keep your spelling and grammar accurate. Of course you don't need to write like a professional author, but try to keep things easy to read and coherent.
Do not post in topics over a month old. These topics are considered dead, with the exception of art/commission topics and character profiles(more will be added to thie exception list if needed).
Act your age. If you're a pup, you're hardly going to understand complex or abstract concepts or events.
Do not post in over 3 plot-relevant topics with the same character at once. Solo topics, character development topics, birth topics and similarly non plot-relevant topics do not count. If in doubt about whether a topic is plot-relevant or not, pm a member of staff.
Let everyone have their turn in an IC topic. Wait for everyone else to post before posting agsin, unless a person doesn't post within two days. In that case, you may skip them. This rule doesn't apply in battles with more than 5 dogs on each side, meetings and interactions between more than 10 dogs or if the creator of the topic stated that this rule is void(more exemptions may be added as needed).
A character can't know about the events of a topic that hasn't been finished yet. This can make the timeline really confusing.
No godmodding or powerplaying. This means making your character immortal or invulnerable, having your character know something they shouldn't realistically know about, killing or injuring other characters without consulting their roleplayer first, controlling others' characters in your post and giving your character an unrealistic amount of powers or skills.
Do not randomly redirect a topic. As an extreme example, if you are in a romance topic don't have a bear show up out of the blue and maul your character to death.
Only adult characters can have puppies. This rule applies to all dogs, regardless of any other factors.
Absolutely no mating scenes allowed. For everyone's sake, fade to black. If a child under 13 wouldn't understand it, don't post it. Please.
There is a maximum of 3 characters per person. This reduces character hoarding and inactice characters.
